To do this, they work closely with farmers in Sri Lanka who hand-pick fresh organic tea leaves. The leaves are flash-frozen that day and packaged in loose format or in convenient cubes. “If you want to maximize the health benefits of the food you’re consuming, you harvest at their nutritional prime and flash-freeze them within hours,” Bell explains. “Keeping the tea leaves in their real, raw format delivers five times the antioxidants that dried tea does.
