How a New Brunswick Start-Up Is Disrupting The Tea Industry and Going Global. Owned and operated in Saint John, New Brunswick, by female entrepreneur Tracy Bell, start-up Millennia Tea has an inspiring story to tell.

The company was born in 2016 and has grown exponentially since launch, something Tracy Bell puts down to where they are based. “I believe being located in New Brunswick gives us a strategic advantage in attracting world-class talent,” Bell exclusively tells [EDIT]. “The opportunity to have a challenging and rewarding career while also enjoying an incredible quality of life that you can’t get elsewhere makes this an excellent place for us to grow our business and our impact.” In addition to the partnerships they have created in Sri Lanka, the company has doubled their staff in the last 18 months, most recently adding supply-chain and marketing specialists. They recently hired Eric Seely, who has amassed more than 30 years of experience in supply chains and food and service retail. He joined Millennia because he believes in their prospects, and he loves building companies. It’s been a great fit. “We have been so fortunate to find and hire a lot of stellar talent right here at home. They have skills that rival the best we have seen anywhere,” says Bell. “We interview people throughout the globe, and we have found people who have moved to New Brunswick because it’s a great place to live and work, and we have found people who have executed internationally successful supply chains.”
