And naturally, we add our favourite ingredient to our vegetarian chili: superfood TEA!

We love everything about this Superfood Vegetarian Chili:


Ingredients - Serves 6:

½ tbs olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 large carrot, diced
2 celery, diced
1 orange bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 medium sweet potato, peeled + cubed
1 cup finely chopped kale
1 can crushed organic tomatoes

¾ cup veggie broth
1 can black beans (rinsed and drained)
1 can kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
1 cup sweet corn
1 cup mushrooms
1 tbs hot sauce
2 tbs fancy molasses
¼ cup chopped Millennia TEA
2 tbs mild chili powder

¼ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
¼ tsp paprika
¼ tsp cayenne
¼ tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
fresh ground pepper to taste

Optional : avocado, Greek yogurt, lime and corn chips to top

Instructions: 

Add onion, celery, and olive oil to saucepan to soften, season with salt and pepper. Add remainder of ingredients and spices and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 45 mins or until veggies are soft.

Top with sliced avocado, a dollop of Greek yogurt and organic corn chips for a crunch.
