In order to protect the integrity of the product, our teas need to remain frozen – just like your frozen fruits and superfoods. That means we ship by courier service on dry ice.The implications of this are two-fold:
We review every order and reach out to customers if we foresee any concerns with the delivery of their tea. Please read the following information carefully.
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays: That means your tea will arrive mid-week, depending where you live. You will receive your tracking number by e-mail when your order ships.
Receiving your order: Because the product needs to be stored in the freezer right away, we ask that you have someone available to sign for your delivery when it arrives. If no one answers the door when the courier arrives, the shipment will be left at your door. We do not take responsibility for product that thaws and has not been signed off on with the courier.
Apartments and condos: For these kinds of buildings, the courier may leave the shipment at the front desk or with security. We will always provide a tracking number for shipments; however, it is your responsibility to retrieve the shipment and get it in the freezer without delay to avoid spoiling.
Rural Delivery: Delivery within specific timeframes is central to our quality assurance. If you live in a rural area and the courier is not able to deliver to your address in the necessary timeframes (24-48 hours after shipping), we may have to cancel your order. Or it is possible the result might be an increased shipping cost. Either way, we will always notify affected customers and arrive at a solution or decision together.
PO Boxes: We do not ship to PO boxes. Please provide a physical residential or business address where someone will be available to receive your shipment when it arrives.
Unavailable destinations: We are not currently shipping to Northwest Territories, Yukon or Nunavut. Our apologies. We hope to get there soon.

Handling dry ice – Safety Steps:If you touch dry ice with your bare hands, it will burn. Dry ice is considered a dangerous good, so please treat it as such and take proper safety precautions.
We pack our teas with a barrier between the product and the dry ice. Even so, please Keep children away from the package and follow these steps:
1) When you open your package, turn your face away in case there is a small release of gas.
2) Put on protective mitts or gloves (please do not handle dry ice with bare hands) and remove your tea.
3) Leave the dry ice in the box and put it in a location where it will not be accessed by children/pets until the dry ice has evaporated fully (within 24hrs of receipt).
We want you to be completely satisfied with your Millennia TEA purchase. If you receive your order and something’s not right, contact us at 1-833-633-1700 or firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of when you received your shipment.
Depending on the circumstance, we will either replace your order or issue a refund.
*Please ensure you are at the delivery address provided upon delivery. If the delivery is missed or the left at your location and thaws, we will not be in a position to issue a refund.
You are responsible for inspecting your TEA at the time of delivery to ensure your order is in good shape, without damage or risk of consumption. You must also deposit the product in the freezer without delay after receipt. After this period, we will presume you received your order in good condition and you are satisfied.
